Did you know that the owner and CFO of First Class Rent-a-Car, Carlos Dolabella, is an amazing athlete who has been competing in triathlons since 1981? Well, now you know! Carlos has finished over 500 triathlons in his career, which includes an Ironman that he completed in Hawaii in 1982. City Bikes IRONMAN 70.3 Miami race details
The race, which will be held on October 23, 2016, will start at Bayfront Park, which serves as the headquarters and finish line for the whole race. Bayfront park is right in the center of downtown Brickell, and features amazing views of Miami’s stunning downtown skyline. The rest of the race weaves through some of the most beautiful locations in Miami. For instance, participants will swim in between downtown Brickell, Brickell Key, and Dodge Island.
The biking leg of this race will be quite the challenge for participants. Luckily, Miami is pretty much entirely flat, which takes the uphill battle out of the game. Racers will make their way all the way up to just west of Miramar, FL, along a route which runs diagonally along Okeechobee Road and stretches all the way to the Everglades out west.
Lastly, the run portion will take racers north and then east on the MacArthur Causeway, but not all the way to South Beach. The turnaround marker is located on Jungle Island, which is the first island on the Causeway. Participants will soak in some great views of the entire city from this bridge, views that on a normal day will have drivers constantly turning their heads back and forth from the road to catch a glimpse!
Any Ironman event is a spectacle that should be much more appreciated. So, here at First Class Rent-a-Car, we want to show you how much we appreciate the hard work that you go through as an Ironman participant. That is why your participation will earn you 20% off a First Class rental. Now, you can arrive to the City Bikes IRONMAN 70.3 Miami in comfort and style!
